A clip point blade is more flexible, but also more likely to snap. A drop point blade is more solid, but also less sharp.

Spear point blade

Tanto blade

Drop point blade

A drop point blade is a kind of knife blade that has a top part that bends down from the handle to the end of the blade. It has a big and straight part that can cut, or belly, that also goes up a little bit to join the end. 
It has a thick and solid end that is good for lasting and handling. 

A drop point blade is one of the most common and useful blade shapes, and it is often good for everyday use, hunting, survival, and tactical knives
